Sometimes these mesages makes you think too.. I got one such message from poo in the morning.
It said...
Gyan 4 the day --
"Best love and affection can be given and taken if you follow two things.
1. dont talk if you are angry
2. dont take the words seriously from the one who is angry"
Good morning :)
which of the ones is easier??? Is it possible to be really composed and talk 'logically' when you are angry? Is it easier to forgive someone who blurts out something when he is angry?? Can we overlook those 'words' and just try to understand the 'feelings' behind them??? When our words are poking them like knife, how do you expect them to see the feeling behind them???
ah.....
In one of her blogs, she had said, "A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control"
but my favorite quote says.... "some people are wise, but most of us are otherwise ;-)"
watsay???

is that co-incidence or is that coincidence???
heard that sms line(gyan wala) last night at the may queen ball in Indiranagar club.. on of the contestants told the exact same stuff as her motto in life!!
hmm.. the world IS a small place..:)
PS: came here from chaitra's blog..
yeah kushi, i am truly otherwise ;)
I think its easier to forget and forgive what ever one blurts in anger.
Take ur chance... n make me angry...
anger is a state of mind that cannot be over come easily...
Totally agree with ya...
most of us r other wise...
And 1 more thing, wise men never get angry!!!!
better to be careful...words hurt a lot...
...and for some people,
getting angry at loved ones
is a way of ego satisfaction...
I re-quote what Benjamin Franklin has said "Anger is never without a reason, but seldom with a good one”.
About controlling anger, William arthur ward says and I quote "It is wise to direct your anger towards problems -- not people; to focus your energies on answers -- not excuses". I suppose thats what wise men do...:)
Tee hee...howdu...:D! Otherwise e naavu :D!
Hi Kushi,
True, Teer se nikla huva vaan and words from mouth can simply 'Vapass Barakilla kan ammi.'
hmmm...,Now lemme see in which category i fall into. I guess not in 'wise' (Me & wise? he he )category and not in to 'otherwise' category too...oops,then... yeah i know, it has to be 'other-wise wise'
because some times i am wise and sometime otherwise too..:),Konfused?!!
Ya sumanth, the same messages keep repeating for GM and GN :)
PS: thanks for visiting :)

I miss those forward sms's at times, dont get any of that here. How did I find your blog? No clue, was just wandering around:)
Do I like the way you have made it? Absolutely.
Good stuff:)
thanks wanderer :)
I am a bit short tempered. So I guess I'm not qualified to talk about how to control anger.
I dont get angered easily. Atleast, I do what that quote suggests - keep shut when I am angry.
This isnt so simple though. Keep shut in face of resistance or opposition creates an impression that you are a coward. Its really hard to balance...its true, only the really wise can handle that properly.
How about you? Are you a short-tempered person yourself?

Khushi, Aristotle says and I quote "Getting anger at the right things and with the right people, and in the right way and at the right time and for the right length of time, is an art to be cultivated"
There is a meaningful difference between arrogance and itellect ....... so according to me the answer to your konfusion lies in the kind of anger the person is carrying...... kinds of anger?????? errrr...u read it correct!!!! ......... :-)
